Every Message. Every time.
His Light. Her Shine.
Beth started her freelance teaching career as a young girl by playing school in her little bedroom with her stuffed animals and dolls. She would line them all up and by using a small chalkboard and a ruler as her pointer she would teach them the most important things in life - like how to write their names flawlessly and the three simple steps on how to hang clothes perfectly on their hangers. Beth pursued a teaching career in response to her God-given talent and her little girl dreams. In 2004 she graduated with a dual major in Elementary Education and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She has a fifteen year career in education, and is currently teaching third grade at Archbishop Walsh Academy and is the Curriculum Coordinator, as well.
Through God’s perfect timing and His perfect plan, Beth discovered that He had more in store for her outside of the classroom walls and flung the door wide open to pursue teaching through writing and speaking. Her love of writing plays itself out in her monthly blogs and writing devotions, as well as working on her first fiction novel based on the true story of her eldest son’s tragic accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury and some physical disabilities. God blessed her with the gift of gab and has allowed Beth to speak professionally at multiple venues to women seeking to grow in their relationship with God.
Beth is married to her Prince Charming, Jim, and together they have five children - on any given day at least one of them likes them. With four sons and one daughter, their lives are full of hockey games, trips to college campuses, and wearing many non-traditional hats in between.
Beth is a professional speaker who is invited by numerous types and groups of women seeking to further their relationship with God. She has been speaking for four years, with approximately 10 events per year, and will continue to do so for as long as she has breath. Beth can be found on womenspeakers.com for more information and for booking.
Beth enjoys too many things to ever be accomplished in her time here on this earth, so she dreams often of Heaven where she won’t need to waste time sleeping and will get to play piano, sew quilts, be that amateur photographer, write and publish 10 best selling novels, read every classic ever written, ride her motorcycle and grow a garden even Eve would be jealous of. In the meantime, her inner most desire is to walk with God and keep her eyes fixed fully on Him and to take as many with her on this journey that are willing to go.
